Loon in the Mist Creative is the next generation of OmniWorx Design, we are still the same award-winning design studio that believes in design that’s not just seen but felt. We help tourism businesses, attractions, and those who invite others to explore bring their stories to life through visuals, voice, and brand experiences that echo the misty dawns, loon calls, and hidden trails of Peterborough and the Kawarthas.
Loon in the Mist Creative partners with tourism organizations and place-based businesses in Peterborough and the Kawarthas to craft ethical, human-centered design that celebrates communities, tells authentic stories, and creates meaningful connections between destinations and visitors.

Creative Director
After more than 25 years of visiting Peterborough and the Kawarthas, Jack Henry made the region his home in 2022. Trained at OCAD University and an Associate Member of the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD), Jack has worked with a wide range of clients — from large institutions such as The Ontario College of Teachers and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada to private firms in Toronto.
Jack’s focus has evolved to the places he is most passionate about: small-business destinations that invite exploration, bed & breakfasts, local attractions, nature lodges, boutiques, cafés, and makers whose work thrives when every visitor experience feels authentic.
Through his previous firm, OmniWorx Design, Jack completed over 140 projects for more than 40 clients, gaining extensive experience in understanding what makes a place distinctive, the soft morning mist over a lake, the haunting call of a loon, winding trails, and lakeshore ambiance. These details now inform the work at Loon in the Mist Creative, shaping brands so that visitors don’t just see them, they remember, share, and explore.

Morale Officer
Igor keeps the office calm and spirits high, even during the tightest deadlines. He joined the team through Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue in Toronto, where he was first fostered, and it didn’t take long for him to win our hearts. Igor became our first “foster fail,” a permanent part of the office family, reminding us every day that a little curiosity, calm, and companionship can make all the difference in a creative workspace.
