Loon in the Mist Creative is a Kawarthas and Peterborough design studio helping tourism businesses rise above the noise with branding, web design, and marketing campaigns inspired by the local business landscape

We would like to respectfully acknowledge that Loon in the Mist Creative works on the Williams Treaty and Treaty 20 territory which is the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg including Curve Lake First Nation, Hiawatha First Nation, Alderville First Nation & Sccugog Island First Nation. The Loon, or Maang, is a meaningful symbol in Anishinaabemowin teachings, known as a communicator and as a keeper of the lakes that shape this region. With this teaching in mind, Loon in the Mist Creative is dedicated to truth & reconciliation, to doing our part to decolonize design and further reconciliation efforts by responsibly collaborating with local indigenous artists where applicable, through professional development and our everyday practice of the design discipline. We also strive ensure the vibrancy of our region by caring for the lands where we live work and play. We offer our gratitude to the First Peoples for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. We strive to honour these teachings in our work and daily lives.
